Marín Named Top L3AAA Hurler Saturday, September 1st, 2018 Mauro Marín hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning League 3 AAA Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Milton starter earned a 5-1 mark in 6 starts. He threw 40.1 innings, struck out 34 and compiled a solid 1.79 ERA. This year Marín has fashioned a 7-4 mark, 4.83 ERA and pitched 82 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .256 against him and he has logged 83 strikeouts. |
