5-Hit Game for Morris Friday, August 24th, 2018 Thomas Morris really sizzled at the plate in today's 6-5 win over Rocks. The Balboa left fielder blistered Lévis for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Morris was too tough to get out today," the Rocks skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Thomas Morris hit a solo-shot off Harvey Richards in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and singled in the 11th. This year Morris is hitting .352 with 37 hits, 3 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 16 runs. |
