Third League #1 Hurler is Miller Monday, October 1st, 2018 Marlon Miller has made fans throughout Menard's Third League take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-1 record. No pitcher in the Third League threw better in September, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 5 starts Miller compiled a 2.00 ERA, putting up a 4-1 record, striking out 26 and tossing 36 innings. So far this year Miller has made 16 starts, tossed 108.1 innings, struck out 68 batters and walked 73. His record is 8-6 with a 2.82 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .237 batting average. |
