Powell Holds SC Scoreless Friday, September 21st, 2018 Chicago pitcher Tim Powell blanked the SC Storm 2-0, tossing a 5-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 5 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he said that he gives a lot of the credit to his batterymate. "Me and him are just locked in out there. He's so great at having a feel for hitters. I couldn't do what I'm doing without him." In 25 starts this season Powell has recorded a 14-5 record and a 2.22 ERA. |
