Ortega Holds Oaks Scoreless Monday, August 20th, 2018 Athletic Club KC hurler Roberto Ortega was at his best as he whitewashed the Oakland Oaks 6-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said the Oakland manager. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Ortega fired a 6-hitter and totaled 6 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout performance. His record this year is 8-6 in 19 starts and Ortega has a 2.14 ERA. |
