Week's Top Performer Honored by 3L Monday, August 20th, 2018 So far in his young career, Chandler Bailey has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Third League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Oakland Oaks catcher hit at a torrid .591 clip as he collected 13 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 6 runs scored. For the season Bailey has produced 100 hits in 298 at-bats for a .336 average with 7 home runs and gotten on base at a .393 clip. |
