Morín Goes on Rampage Against BC Friday, August 3rd, 2018 Who needs batting practice? Júlio Morín of Richardson City apparently doesn't as he battered Lone Star with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 10-0 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Júlio Morín singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off José Mota in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Posting a .330 batting average to date, Morín has 5 home runs and 40 RBIs. |
