Brown Socks it to Cruisers, Cracks 5 Hits Friday, June 29th, 2018 It was a parade of hits for Brad Brown of the Toledo Titans... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Norfolk Cruisers for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Titans to a 12-0 victory. "Brown was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Cruisers manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Brad Brown doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Hitting .314 to date, Brown has 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 38 games. |
