Rumors Call Leonard O'Connor 'Wood Chopping' Incident a Cover Up for Affair Sunday, October 21st, 2018 In the wake of Leonard O'Connor's apparent back injury while helping his neighbor chop wood, rumors have begun to surface alleging the true cause of the injury to be a secret rendezvous with a previously unidentified mistress. O'Connor, who is married, has reportedly been caught sneaking around his hometown with a local massage therapist. The pair had been spotted at a local mall and O'Connor's truck was reportedly spotted a local motel the day before the wood chopping incident was announced. Neither O'Connor nor the Slugs have offered any formal response to the accusations. Teammates are neutral thus far on the matter. "You can't take rumors you hear as fact until there's definite proof," said Louisville Slugs teammate, Kurt Chappell. "I could point at you and say you kicked a puppy but that doesn't make it true.
