Clubhouse Shenanigans May Cost Columbus Players
Friday, August 17th, 2018
Columbus teammates Harris Howard and Edgardo Álvarez are in hot water with manager Justin Palmer for a series of pranks aimed at other teammates and at one another. "These guys are adults," said the Tidal Waves skipper. "And they're supposed to be professionals. Why they're acting like a couple of clowns is beyond me." According to Palmer, both players will be fined if the behavior continues. Howard, however, doesn't understand why his manager is getting all worked up. "We're just having a little fun, blowing off some steam. He doesn't need to call us out in public. And fining us would be taking it way too far." Álvarez was slightly more diplomatic. "It's embarrassing to be singled out like that. I guess I need to take things a little more seriously from now."
