L2 Best Manager is Argot of the Templars Saturday, September 6th, 2014 Capitol District Templars field manager Ken Argot has brought a winning attitude to the team and the city. His no-nonsense approach, work ethic and baseball experience has paved the way for success. This season the Templars parlayed his managerial skills and some talented ballplayers into a 4th place spot in the Division 2 standings. Capitol District finished the year with a 62-46 record. To everybody's delight Argot was voted the 2014 League 2 Manager of the Year by the baseball writers. "Mr. Argot doesn't take any stuff. If you aren't doing your job, he's not afraid to call you on it," noted one of his ballplayers. "But the team wouldn't want to play for anyone else. He's tough, demanding, but he treats everyone fairly and doesn't play favorites. Nobody gets pampered on his ballclub." |
