Cain Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, August 18th, 2014 At the age of 29, Edward Cain might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Casper shortstop put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .667 batting average. For his efforts Cain collected the League 2 Player of the Week Award. He racked up 6 hits in 9 at-bats, 3 home runs and 5 RBIs last week in 3 games. Cain has a .250 average and a .347 on-base percentage for the year.
