Grant Takes L2 Top Starter Trophy Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 As Stan Grant hoisted up the League 2 Pitcher of the Month trophy for June, rumors have already begun to swirl about whether he will leave Norfolk once his contract is up at the end of the season. Grant put pressure on the Cruisers to keep him around by posting a 4-0 record and an ERA of 2.55 over 35.1 innings last month. He also rolled up 21 strikeouts, increasing his value both to Norfolk and to every other team in the league. This year Grant has 8 wins and 2 losses and a 3.04 ERA. |
