Rivermen Davis Injured in Off-Field Incident Thursday, May 29th, 2014 Doctors tending the injured Rivermen closer Ben Davis diagnosed him with a herniated disc and said he will be out of the lineup for up to 2 weeks. Davis was injured in a train accident yesterday. To date in 15 relief appearances, Davis has recorded 7 saves while posting an ERA of 7.11 and 18 strikeouts in 12.2 innings pitched. His totals for the year also include 2 wins and 1 loss. |
