Brian Jones took BSA Rookie League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 20.

For his spectacular campaign, the Coronado Eclipse star has been named the 2030 Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.

On the season he compiled a .321 batting average to go with a .394 on-base percentage. The native of San Jose, California also added 6 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 47 RBIs and 44 runs scored.

Víctor Cuevas of the Logan Swans finished second in voting, while Luis Miguel Martínez of the Santa Anna Dukes finished third.
