Ruffin Gone for Season in Grand Rapids Friday, August 23rd, 2030 Frank Ruffin has to call it a season. The Grand Rapids Dutch Ovens first baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Santa Clarita Music and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ruffin was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured knee and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months. This year Ruffin is batting .208 with 3 home runs. |
