SL1 Star of the Week Honored Monday, September 10th, 2029 Bill Poe must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .406 clip, then the Hartford right fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the SL1 Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Poe batted .406 (13-for-32) with 3 home runs and 14 RBIs. On the season, Poe is batting .319 with 6 home runs and 32 RBIs. He has played in 45 games. |
