López Socks it to Doughboys, Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, August 19th, 2029 The Quincy Doughboys might think twice next time about pitching to Justin López. At Ballpark of Sunrise Manor today, the Hartford Darth Whalers second baseman burned Quincy pitching, going 5-for-5 in a 15-8 Hartford triumph. "When he's on his game," Hartford skipper George Jones told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Justin López singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year López is batting .180 with 16 hits and no home runs.
