Hit Streak Now at 20 for Brown Friday, May 10th, 2030 Michael Brown extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Randall HS 12-3 triumph over the Broken Arrow HS. The 16-year-old Raiders left fielder collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Michael Brown struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. This season Brown is swinging the bat at a .392 rate with 65 hits in 166 at-bats. To date he has hit 8 home runs, scored 36 runs and driven in 39. |
