Super Swinger -- Brooks Slams 5 Hits Monday, April 29th, 2030 It was a big day for Dennis Brooks and he brought the Maize HS along for the ride. Brooks led his club to a 16-1 victory over the Bishop Verot HS today at Mudcats Ballpark, smoking Bishop Verot HS pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 18-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet." Dennis Brooks hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jason Holland in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
