Saints End Richter's Streak Saturday, April 27th, 2030 Lady Luck was not on the side of Tom Richter or his teammates today at Ballpark of Bethlehem HS. Everything went the way of the Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints, who not only came away with the 3-2 victory over Oliver Ames HS, but also held Richter hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 23-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Richter said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." In 24 games this year Richter has posted a .436 average and put up these numbers: 8 home runs, 31 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
