Hit Parade: Eastham Pops 5 Hits Wednesday, May 23rd, 2029 Duke right fielder Curt Eastham had a big day at Doug Kingsmore Stadium today against the Clemson Tigers. The 19-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Blue Devils to a 14-6 triumph over Clemson. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Eastham said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Curt Eastham grounded out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th.
