Maryland's Clayton to Miss Season
Wednesday, May 8th, 2030
The news is bad in Maryland. The Terrapins have lost the services of reliever Ralph Clayton for the rest of the season due to a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Clayton was injured in a recent game with the Georgia Bulldogs while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 6-7 months.

To date this year Clayton has won 2 and lost 0 with a 3.98 ERA, 1 save and 26 strikeouts in 12 relief appearances.
