José Cruz Injured, Out for Year
Friday, April 19th, 2030
When Colorado reliever José Cruz was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Buffaloes-Aggies game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Cruz had sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for about 10 months.

Cruz has taken the mound for 5 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 1-1 record with a 5.68 ERA. The Colorado reliever has limited opposing batters to a .259 batting average.
