Deleón 5-for-6 for Lee's Summit Saturday, September 14th, 2030 The Cincinnati Pride might think twice next time about pitching to José Deleón. At Pride Field today, the Lee's Summit Tigers first baseman burned Cincinnati pitching, going 5-for-6 in a 8-1 Lee's Summit triumph. "When he's on his game," Lee's Summit skipper León Gonzáles told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." José Deleón doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Héctor Fabián in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this season Deleón has gotten 190 hits in 633 at-bats for a .300 batting average with 16 home runs. His stats include 92 RBIs and 95 runs scored. He has played in 155 games.
