Erickson Garners SNL (28 & Under) Batter of the Month Award Thursday, August 1st, 2030 Merrill Erickson is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Santa Fe right fielder joined that select company when the Southern League announced the results of July's voting. Erickson totaled 34 hits, 14 walks, 13 home runs, 30 RBIs and 21 runs scored last month to put together a .343 batting average and .430 on-base percentage. So far this year Erickson is hitting .338 with 33 home runs. |
