Hooper Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, August 25th, 2030 Don Hooper collected 1 hit in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. His club, the Calgary Cowboys, beat the Mile High Broncos 4-1. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Hooper quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Don Hooper struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
