Bad News For Martínez and St. Louis Wednesday, October 2nd, 2030 The St. Louis Browns received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Javier Martínez would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Martínez, who is currently out with a dislocated shoulder, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 22-year-old center fielder will have to spend another 7 weeks in treatment. This year Martínez is batting .298 with 1 home run. He has scored 71 runs and driven in 30. |
