Victory Over Rebels Takes Baffin Island to 34-15
|
The Baffin Island Beavers bested the Boston Rebels, 6-4, at Fenway Park. Germán Rosales was named player of the game. He was 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Brent Miller finished to wrap up his 7th save. Boston's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
Rosales had a game-changing double in the top of the sixth. On a 2-2 fastball from Keith Hill, he banged a bases-clearing double to center, giving the Beavers a 5-4 lead. It was the 3rd double of the year for Rosales.
"We take it day by day here," said Rosales, "and today was a good one for us."
