The Pocatello Bellas defeated the Vista Panthers, 4-2, in Continental League action at Stone Brewery Stadium, with Pocatello pitcher Dionisio Penni named player of the game. The win brings the Bellas to 8-5, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Juan Castro, who is a two-time Gold Glove Award winner, helped out the Pocatello cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Penni, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
