Stars Even With Bellas After Extra-Innings Win
Pocatello designated hitter António Ortega pounded Springfield pitchers at Kekambas Park, but it was not enough to keep the Bellas from losing in a walk-off. The Stars fell 7-6 in Game 4 of the League Championship. Ortega was 5 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and was named player of the game for his efforts, even as he saw the Bellas slip into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Late in the game, shortstop José López had a big at-bat for Springfield. In the bottom of the 13th, he hit a run-scoring single off Chris Martin. The play gave the Stars a 7-6 lead.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said López.

Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow at Kekambas Park in Springfield. The scheduled starters for the game are Hong-ryul Yun for Pocatello and Kyu-pyeong Pak for Springfield.
