Alabama Shakes pitcher Félix Germán blanked the Elkins Sting Rays 9-0 at Ballpark of Elkins today, tossing a 5-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 6 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.

"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Germán said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
