 | Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Cuevas Saturday, May 12th, 2029 José Cuevas ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Threshers Ballpark, when he collected 2 hits in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the John Jay HS Patriots dropped the game, 16-6, to the Broken Arrow HS. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Cuevas said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." José Cuevas struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Elvin Pierce in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Elvin Pierce in the 9th.
