 | Cooper Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games Tuesday, May 8th, 2029 Win or lose, Emery Cooper just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 25 games. The Overland Park HS Triplets first baseman went 1-for-3 today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 4-0 by the Tulsa HS As at As Ballpark. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Emery Cooper struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th and grounded out in the 7th. Cooper is hitting .451 so far this season with 53 RBIs and 44 runs scored.
