 | Jackson's Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games Sunday, May 6th, 2029 Franklin Jackson of the Buchanan HS tagged 3 hits in today's 9-7 loss to the Bishop Amat HS at Vendettas Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Franklin Jackson doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, walked in the 6th and flied out in the 9th. This year Jackson is hitting at a .407 pace with 7 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 33 times. |   |
