Saints End Stout's Streak
Tuesday, April 17th, 2029
It was a doubly miserable day today for Xavier Stout of the Fresno HS Red Wings, as he saw his 22-game hitting streak end and his team lose 3-0 to the Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints at Ballpark of Bethlehem HS. The 17-year-old center fielder was held hitless in 3 at-bats by the Saints.

"Anyone on a 22-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Temiskaming District Secondary School manager Bill Young said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done."

Stout is presently hitting at a .453 pace with 5 home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 16 games and scored 15 times.
