 | Stout Stretches Hit String to 20 Saturday, April 14th, 2029 The hot bat of Red Wings center fielder Xavier Stout continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 3-for-4 in today's 11-5 loss to the Chieftans at Mount Pleasant HS Grounds. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Xavier Stout singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and walked in the 9th. Stout is presently hitting at a .463 pace with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 14 times. |   |
