 | Dennis Sensational, 5-for-5 Tuesday, May 2nd, 2028 Denny Dennis of the Fort Worth HS Turkeys went on a hitting spree today against the Temiskaming District Secondary School Saints pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Saints put a damper on his day and prevailed 14-13 over the Turkeys. "It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later. Denny Dennis singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. This year Dennis has socked 35 hits in 99 at-bats for a .354 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .492 pace and his totals also include 25 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
