Anderson led his club to a 24-5 victory over the Overland Park HS Triplets today at Paints Ballpark, smoking Overland Park HS pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 17-year-old shortstop later called the victory "pretty sweet." Howard Anderson hit a two-run home run off Ray Taylor in the 2nd, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Looking at his stats this year, Anderson has compiled a .309 batting average, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 19 runs. He has played in 28 games and scored 21 runs.
