 | Jones Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, April 21st, 2028 Everyone in Oceanside HS is getting excited about Heath Jones's hitting streak. The 17-year-old left fielder extended it today to 20 games with 2 hits against Grand Rapids HS. The Pirates took the Summit 15-11. Heath Jones walked in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bob Barry in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Fernando González in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and walked in the 8th. Thus far in 2028 Jones is hitting .380 with 5 home runs, 18 RBIs, 16 runs scored and has compiled a .456 OBP. |   |
