Rush Chosen 2029 PIO (24 & Under) Outstanding Hitter Award
Friday, October 26th, 2029
At the age of 24, Bo Rush of the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2029 was good enough to win the first baseman the Pioneer League Outstanding Hitter Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .321 batting average this year, as well as a .457 on-base percentage. He played 143 games and racked up 160 hits, 23 doubles, 1 triple, 20 home runs, 109 RBIs and 91 runs scored.

Vernon Hill of the Chula Vista Tacos finished second in voting, while Ramiro Medrano of the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns finished third.
