 | Appalachian League Names Lee Best Player Tuesday, October 16th, 2029 Eugene Lee of the Nantucket Orcas had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2029. The 22-year-old center fielder put up a .321 average and a .382 on-base percentage, piling up 168 hits, 33 doubles, 8 triples, 27 home runs, 107 RBIs and 89 runs scored. Tony Ayala of the Scottsdale Scorpions finished second in voting, while Francisco Medina of the Detroit Dirty Snow finished third. |   |
