 | MWL (24 & Under) Player of the Week Chosen Monday, August 27th, 2029 The Midwest League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Edgardo Castro, catcher of the Erie Jaxx. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .579 pace to win the award. Castro went 11-for-19 for the week, totaled 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 3 times.
