That's what Ben Johnston was doing at Williams Brice Stadium today as he blanked the Little Rock Lemmiwinks in a 9-inning complete game shutout. "I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the Evanston Elitists left-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Johnston notched 8 strikeouts, surrendered 3 walks, allowed 5 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long. So far this year Johnston has a 4-7 record with a 3.79 ERA.
