Season-Ending Injury for Matt Barlow
Wednesday, August 22nd, 2029
A blow for Matt Barlow today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Barlow suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Reading Rainbows are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Barlow's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.

In 33 starts this season Barlow has registered a 10-8 record and a 3.54 ERA.
