 | González on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, September 10th, 2029 So far in his young career, Ángel González has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pacific Coast League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old San Jose Missions right fielder hit at a torrid .400 clip as he collected 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. So far this season González has gotten 112 hits in 361 at-bats for a .310 batting average with 32 home runs. His stats include 81 RBIs and 67 runs scored. He has played in 114 games. |   |
