 | Tobías Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Monday, August 27th, 2029 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Roberto Tobías is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Mile High Broncos at Red Hot Stadium today. The monster effort from the 28-year-old first baseman helped the Albuquerque Isotopes take the win, 19-5. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Broncos manager Patrick Patterson. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Roberto Tobías hit a two-run home run off Hokusai Nakashima in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Hokusai Nakashima in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
