Hounds Larry Smith to Miss Year
Tuesday, August 28th, 2029
The season is finished for Larry Smith of the Indiana Hounds. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Hounds third baseman suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Utica Unicorns. Team doctors said it would take at least 9-10 months to heal.

This season Smith has hit at a .511 clip and produced 18 runs batted in, 7 home runs and 13 runs.
