Horton Spins Shutout | District 9 Prawns pitcher Leonard Horton really got it done at The Quarantine today in his 3-0 shutout victory over the San Jose Missions, shutting them down on 3 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Horton said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 24-year-old issued 2 walks and had 9 strikeouts in the Prawns win.
To date this year in 15 starts, Horton has crafted a 8-3 mark with a 2.81 ERA. | |
