| Mercado Shackles Richmond | José Mercado of the Utica Unicorns humiliated the Richmond Flairs at Utica Field today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 3 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Richmond manager Emmett Taylor, after the game.
Mercado whiffed 9 and walked 2 in the 4-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Mercado said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
